Roji Monster Ice Cream

Here's something to try: ice cream that tastes just as good as it looks. Located in a small alley close to Gong Cha, Roji Monster Ice Cream Café is a Taiwanese café close to Burwood Station, serving cute monster dessert masterpieces. Although it is Taiwanese based, it is actually a Japanese inspired dessert place! These monsters look really similar to the puppets of the TV show, Sesame Street, and recent, popular posts can be seen via Instagram . There are five flavours to choose from: milk, uji matcha, cocoa, black sesame and a seasonal special, and on top of that, it comes with edible googly eyes and the option for two side toppings. Toppings include lychee jelly, honeycomb rice dumplings, chocolate sauce and many more. When I visited the café, we were directed to the ordering station, where we ordered via stamp cards, i.e. what flavour, and what two toppings we wanted, and then paid at the front counter.
